Quick Hit: iPhone 4 Teardown by iFixit

iFixit, blessed with an early delivery of the iPhone 4 has begun tearing the little thing apart. This is a slow and dangerous process and they aren’t done yet. This is what we know from the teardown. The iPhone 4 currently is packing in 512MB of RAM, this confirms early rumors. It has a 1GHz ARM Vortex A8 processor (same as the Samsung Wave S8500), and glass that has been chemically treated making extremely strong nicknamed Guerilla Glass. The iPhone should also give you plenty of battery life seeing how it has a 1420 Mah battery, no SIM eject tool so you will need a paper clip or the one from your old iPhone (assuming you had one). The device also has dual microphones for noise cancellation. To see the teardown for your self hit the iFixit source link.
