Verizon Pushing out Flash 10.1 to original Droid

Droid 1 owners may have noticed that their upgrade to Android 2.2 did come with ability to download full Adobe Flash 10.1 from the Android market, where other devices could. Verizon has begun a release that will fix this problem, though we have no died how long the OTA update will take. Of course usually you can find a .update file floating around on the Internet and apply it your self. Below is the press release.

“Verizon Wireless has begun pushing an update today to the DROID by Motorola (introduced November 2009) that will allow customers to download Adobe Flash 10.1 via Android Market. Flash Player 10.1 provides access to millions of sites with rich content including animations, casual games, videos, rich internet applications, audio and much more.”
