QUICK HIT: – It Never Ends – The Verizon News Continues – SIM Card

Well it seems to be a day for leaked Verizon news. In from once again engadget, it appears that Verizon 4G SIM cards have made it on to US soil and have some how made it into some US hands. What you are looking at is a SIM card that will slide into a Verizon 4G LTE powered GSM device, aside from the giant “4G” logo the SIM’s look just like the same SIM cards you have been using for the past two decades.

Also in Verizon news today (I may have to make a page just for VZW news): The Verizon FiveSpot has leaked out. The FiveSpot is a CDMA/GSM mobile hotspot that is much smaller than you Novetell MiFi. Not a lot is known about the device yet but it is safe to speculate that it will connect five users wirelessly on a dual band radio system (CDMA/UMTS) which is great because this device would be perfect for overseas travel. We have no idea when the FiveSpot will launch or the price. We will keep our eyes out for it. And hopefully see that 3G button change to 3G/4G. 4G is here and it is here to stay.
